The means of ObeyGC2 must express the end we desire; the journey is as essential as the destination.
The end does not justify the means, especially when the end is the Kingdom of God and His glory. The message and the messenger must match. The delivery must be consistent with the message. Any type of training will be most effective when it includes a model. Being a disciple is, by definition, being a follower. We can best equip others to follow when we show them how to follow. Being a good model requires doing the right thing in the best way that can be emulated by the person you are modeling for. This is a big topic which I will come back to later…
