One of the ObeyGC2 values is that work is sustainable.
The point of this value is that something can be carried on after the initiator has left the scene. Often, this requires capacity-building to take place rather than simply doing things for people. Sustainability ensures that the benefits of the work will be continuing and durable.
What is not sustainable? Providing a pump which the recipients cannot repair if it breaks. Building a structure which cannot be properly maintained. Doing a task for someone which they cannot duplicate or train others to do.
